Musical protege of Pharell Williams, Teyana Taylor, has taken to GlobalGrind.com to tell her fans that pictures leaked of her online this weekend were not quite what they seemed.
At the end of last week, the up-and-coming musician used her official UStream channel to interact live with her fans. Shame for her that her goober of an assistant innocently forgot to stop the recording, once the session was over. After she was done talking to fans, the rapper started getting undressed and changing for a night out on the town. Shame that her live stream was still filming and broadcasting her in various states of undress to thousands of people (under the cut).
At least a handful of the people watching were handy with the print screen key and took captures of the 18-year-old taking her top off and exposing her pink bra. These images were then seemingly sent to notable urban blogs. Hilarity ensued.
Well, not so hilarious, but the pictures have been getting a lot of coverage. These images, out of context, do look like they could have come from a very dull sex tape.
Not being one to take this lying down, Taylor took to the slightly safer Global Grind YouTube channel to pre-record a response to all of the people lie-telling and calling the stills a “sexcam”. Her well-articulated fury is above.
