
SNSD’s music video for “Oh!” has been chosen as the most watched video of 2010 for YouTube Korea.
The “Top 10 Most Watched Videos of 2010″ list was revealed through the channel “YouTube Rewind 2010“, which featured charts from every country. SNSD dominated the Korean chart, ranking in at first with “Oh!”, while “Run Devil Run” came in second, “Hoot” in ninth, and “Oh! (Dance Version)” in tenth.
“Oh!” also managed to rank on Hong Kong’s and Taiwan’s 2010 chart, coming in at sixth and first place respectively. Meanwhile, “Run Devil Run” grabbed third in Taiwan and ninth in Japan.
The girls are currently preparing special stages for the year-end episode on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank“, airing December 17th. They took first last year on the show, and many are wondering if they will continue their winning streak this year.

SNSD will be appearing in a Japanese drama

According to a report by Sankei Sports on December 16th, SNSD will be featuring in Fuji TV’s special drama, “SAZAE-San 3” to be broadcasted on January 2nd at 6:30 PM.
“SAZAE-San” was originally a much beloved comic book of the Japanese, which was later adapted into an animated show that aired for over 40 years through Fuji TV. The story is about an average family that lives in Sakura-shinmachi, Tokyo, and the people they know. The major characteristic of the show is that the Sazae family are all named after different sea creatures.
SNSD will be appearing in the dream of the female protagonist’s father, ‘Namihira’, as beautiful caddies. When ‘Namihira’ makes a hole-in-one dream, all of the members congratulate him with bright smiles.
Producer Asano Sumi revealed, “We were looking for a special guest that fit the month of January and randomly came across SNSD’s promotion video. I felt that they were perfect for a family drama.”
SNSD said, “We’re glad to be able to appear in a popular drama that is much loved in Japan.”
All nine members were present for the filming back in October.

SAMSUNG reveals 3D MV for SNSD’s “Genie”

Earlier in the month, BoA released her “Hurricane Venus” MV in 3D. Now, SNSD’s “Genie” has also been released in 3D. Korean conglomerate Samsung brought in famous directors to produce this MV to show off their latest line of 3D LED TV’s.
The 3D MV not requiring 3D glasses was released earlier in the month but the one requiring 3D glasses was only released on blu-ray in the past few days, check it out below.
