Upcoming solo singer ‘AB’ aims to be the Korean Lady Gaga

There’s a new soloist in town, and she aims to be Korea’s answer to Lady Gaga.
Named ’AB’, this rookie already gained headlines for having her debut music video, “Slip“, banned from all three public broadcast networks.

“Slip” is described to be an electronic dance track that’s both powerful and addictive.

Unfortunately, her music video featured nude shots of her back and had sexually suggestive dancing, all of which eventually led to its ban on MBC, SBS, and KBS.

Her agency commented, “Although we put the focus on a provocative concept, AB was already recognized for her vocal talent prior to her debut. She can easily handle up to five high notes. The producers of Black Eyed Peas, Eminem, and many others have taken much interest in her. Although her music video is provocative, please focus on her singing.”

AB will be releasing her debut album on June 10th.
