While promoting her fifth album Loud, shooting her feature film debut Battleship, and becoming the spokeswoman for Kodak and Doritos, Rihanna shares chapters from her life in her self-titled photography book. The 144-page publication, available in paperback and hardcover editions on October 26 through Rizzoli Publications, is a visual chronicle of one of the world’s most-talked-about performing artists and fashion icons.
Creative director Simon Henwood (Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown”) captures the “It” girl at the height of her beauty and ferocity in photographs from Paris Fashion Week, her Ellen von Unwerth Rated R album shoot in Berlin, American Music Awards performance, and candid moments out of the spotlight. The last pages of the book feature photography taken during the European leg of her “Last Girl on Earth” tour in April 2010.
