Game: WWF No Mercy
Console: N64
Year: 2000No Mercy was the greatest wrestling game ever. And The Rock was the best wrestler in the greatest wrestling game ever. By the transitive property, that means that if you didn't use The Rock to dominate your friends during those long play sessions, then you are a jabroni. If ya smellllllllalalala, what the Rock...is cookin'! And it ain't jambalaya. It's a beatdown. In case you never figured that out.
Game: NBA 2K10
Console: 360/PS3
Year: 2009Using Kobe in NBA 2K10 was almost unfair to opposing defenses. You could easily use Bryant to make up deficits of any amount, if you even found yourself down to begin with. Kobe's jumpshot was more reliable than death and taxes—unless you mean death to the other team from the relentless taxing Black Mamba gave them.
Game: WWF War Zone
Console: PSOne
Year: 1998
Stone Cold Steve Austin was, if not the most dominating wrestler in War Zone, one of the more dominating ones. Despite the game's complicated move controls, Austin's finisher was actually not so hard to pull off, which meant you were only a quick kick-wham-stunner away from victory at any given moment. It almost felt cheap at times, but such was the life of 1990s video games.
