GD&TOP will re-release their first album with a brand new cover next month. YG Entertainment updated their fans on their decision to change GD&TOP’s logo on their official website with a news posting on June 29th.
The post reads:
“Hello. This is YG Entertainment. We thank you all for supporting GD&TOP’s first album, which was released back on December 24th of last year. GD&TOP’s logo, as stated before in many interviews, was designed combining a rabbit, in recognition of the year of the rabbit, and a fist holding up a V-sign that stands for victory. It was based off of Playboy Enterprises International Inc.’s rabbit design logo. However, our company didn’t receive permission from Playboy, who has trademark rights for their rabbit logo, and we’re not involved with Playboy in any shape or form. Therefore, to prevent any confusion, we’ve accepted Playboy’s polite request and have decided to stop using GD&TOP’s rabbit logo. We will suspend sales for GD&TOP’s album, and release a NEW COVER version starting in July. Please show your love and support for the newly designed ‘GD&TOP First Album New Cover Ver.‘ (all songs will be the same). Thank you!!” The new logo features GD&TOP in the shape of a heart.
For fans who’ve wondered and admired Jang Hyuk’s luxurious and muscular body, Jang Hyuk recently revealed the steps in making his muscular body on the June 29th broadcast of SBS’s ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘.
His first secret was in making the arms muscular. Jan Hyuk revealed, “I always carry 10 kg. (22 pounds) worth of weights in the car.” He showed how he endured holding the weights 90 degrees as he did 1 set around 10 times with the 10 kg. weights .
He explained, “Your endurance gets better and the strength you need also increases as your muscles form.” He also suggested turning the dumbbell for 10 sets with 50 reps in a day to strengthen one’s wrists.
His second secret was in making the abs. Jang Hyuk suggested, “Every day, try to perform 100 high leg kicks. To make the abs toned you have to always be on the move. When you hold your legs up, you’re strengthening the stomach.”
Jang Hyuk’s last bonus secret was in creating a well balanced body as a practitioner of Jeet Kune Do, which was Bruce Lee’s martial art philosophy.

The ‘Cool Guy Contest‘ ceremony was held at the Central City Millenium Hall in Kangnam, and 2AM’s producer, Bang Shi Hyuk, served as a judge, which drew more attention to their meeting.
Fans who heard the news said, “Congratulations to the true bagel men, 2AM” and “The emotional idols 2AM are now taking on the cool guy title“.

2PM members reveal old diet and move into new dorm On the most recent episode of SBS TV’s One Night of TV Entertainment, the members of 2PM revealed how hard they worked during their 1st album activities to obtain their ideal bodies.
Apparently, the boys were very limited for their diet, and there were weeks when they were only allowed to eat chicken breast, apples, and sweet potatoes in order to keep their sharp, beastly image.
However, 2PM doesn’t have it all that bad. The boys also shared that they’ve now moved into a bigger dorm. Junho stated, “We recently moved dorms, and all the members were able to get a room they were happy with. Normally, we lived with two or three members in one room, but now we each get our own individual rooms so we get to do whatever we want.”
It’s been revealed that Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu lost a whopping 22 pounds in just ten days in order to film for Mighty Mouth’s new music video “La La La“.
On June 20th, Sangchu revealed two photos that showed his ‘Before & After’ self. In the first photo, he has a big belly that is sticking out, but in the second photo, he is seen posing with perfect ’six-pack’ abs.
His agency explained, “In order to film for a scene where he had to wear a swimsuit, Sangchu replaced his meals with pumpkin sweet potatoes and ran around the Han River everyday. Through this method, he was able to lose 1 kg a day for ten days, and lost a total of 10 kg (about 22 lbs), making a rapid and dramatic transformation from a heavier body to one with perfect ’six-pack’ abs. Although he only had a short time to lose weight, he kept up a strict diet and exercise routine.”
After seeing the photos, netizens left comments such as, “Is it really possible to do that in 10 days?”, “Whoa he has perfect abs“, and “I want to receive training lessons from Sangchu.”
Korean idol group (カラ)KARA made an appearance on the most recent episode of Fuji TV’s “Sakigake Ongaku Banzuke EIGHT“ to promote their latest single “GO GO Summer!”
The members of KARA once participated as MC’s of this same show back in November and December of 2010.
In the interview portion, the show prepared a special gift for the members of KARA. The gift was a basket full of dog toys & foods since each of the members own and love dogs.
