Comic books have something to cheer about as Japanese apparel label Whiz teams up with Airwalk and DC Comics on a range of superhero inspired sneakers. The collection includes designs repersenting Batman, Superman, The Joker, Flash and Wonder Woman, which are divided up between Airwalk’s Dude, Alias and Canvas Hi-Top silhouettes. According to reports, the Batman, Superman and Joker styles are all general releases, while the Wonder Woman and Flash version’s are said to be limited releases limited to 500 pairs each. The collection is set to release on December 6th, 2010 through select Japanese retailers, such as asbee shop.
