JB, X was There

I was suppose to perform on the 8th at Titan Club, but there was no SMS reply from Raja since Monday. To me, Remy's engagement is important to me. He's one of my closest friend. He aint heavy, he's my brother. Remy, sorry I rather call u a friend than a colleague. Dev calls him Pao while I call him Bai. I told him that I want to be his bestman for his wedding day.

Last 2 days was fun indeed. I headed down to JB for Remy’s engagement party. It all started early Saturday morning about 7a.m. I was in Anthony’s car with him and his wife. On the way, we stopped to have a quick breakfast. When we reached JB, he showed me and told me stories about him and his previous job. He also told me how he used to travel from JB to KL once in a while last time.

Breakfast

When we were there, we headed to the Gudwara. Anthony forgot to bring along a scarf. So I accompanied him to go and buy one. When we were in front of the Gudwara which is located at Jalan Trus, we waited for the rest. Vixx and the rest came. Vixx was like a cameraman. He was videoing the scene. We went in and the ceremony was going on. In a while, Remy was distributing something. I could not recognize him. It’s the first time I see him wearing a turban. When he came, then only I know he was passing some sweet stuff. The ceremony was extremely long for me. Guess I didn’t pray for so long. I think a Buddhist praying session is as long.

As we walk to the car park, I saw an interesting building. I have no idea what building is it, but I asked Dev to snap a pic of it. Then, me in the picture with the building as the background.

After the ceremony, the gang headed to the hotel. Me, Ben, Jam and Razzman had a quick lunch. Ben and Jam went to the room to sleep while I and Razzman walked around the shopping area looking for stuff to purchase. I ended buying a pair of socks and a red colar t-shirt at Nike. Then we headed to the room and have a quick nap.

The Room:

We headed to a hall for the second part pf the ceremony around 6P.M. I was wearing my new Nike and a new cheap watch. There's the "Welcome to the family" ceremony. There is a nice dance performance by a little girl. There was some food but mostly all about beer. Remy was not wearing turban this time. His father-in-law was a happy man and a friendly person. His father-in-law reminded me of my dad during my sister’s wedding night. The food menu was curry chicken, rice, veg and egg. As for the beverage, it was sirup, wine and beer. The main beverage for the night is beer.

After a tiring dinner, we headed to the hotel. Everyone rest. Vixx totally knocked out. He was extremely drunk. I was in the room dead bored and enjoying the chocolates that I bought before heading to the room. Then it was a nice hot bath in the hot tub in the room.

dinner Evevnt Venue

The next day, we headed for lunch before we start our journey back to Petaling Jaya. On the way, we stopped for ice cream. I was enjoying a nice nap in Ben’s car. Here's a bit of the story. Just a little bit of the story.

I knew that there is gonna be some checking by the Kastam team. I managed to smuggle a few bars of chocolates and 3 packs of ciggies. I wanted to smuggle a bottle of coffee alcohol but didn't.

Let's go, we can do it!

The Kastam process. What we went through, I managed to get down and snap a few pictures with my phone.

No one got caught. Vixx managed to get away with a bottle. Lucky mofo!

After that, first thing first. Fill in the fuel. Then only lunch time.

We headed to Danga Bay for lunch. The place is OK but the food is nothing special. They don't sell Lontong there. What a waste. I wanted to try Lontong but it was not available there. I had ikan bakar, kankung and rice for lunch. The ikan bakar was the worst I have in my life. The one at Jalan 222 is even better.

My lunch:

Before

fish before

After

fish after

After lunch, we all went to front of the place and had a mini photo session.

My Photo session:

Which of Remy's look would you prefer? With or without turban.

Can you make a conversation for this pic?

It could be,

Ben: Eat properly you fool !

X: I'm a bad boy, I aint got manners so I eat with my fingers!

What?! There aint more to it!

Malaysian Hip Hop

I can't remember the day when I start listen to Malaysian hip hop. BUT i think it all started in the year 1997 when Poetic Ammo released the album It's A Nice Day To Be Alive. I remember that I didn't want to buy it. I was under the inpression that it's a Punk genre album. Don't blame me. Check out the Landslyde's hairdo for the album cover. I finally bought it after listening to a few tracks at Cahaya Music, KOMTAR. Sad to say that their second album "The World is Yours" is a big dissapointment to me but the album "The Return of The Boombox" was good, typical hip hop album but sadly it was under-rated. I never expect that I meet will Point in person, but I did. I was extremely shocked and stood in awe when I saw him in person at AmCorp Mall. He is still my hero despite knowing and hearing some people dislikes him. Well, everyman is entitled to their own opinion.

P.S. Ayyo Point, like ya told me, I'm the 1st to kno that ya solo album coming. Dun chu make the fans wait too long.

The year was 1997 (I think), I remembered I saw a performance of Too Phat at Bangsar. They were performing cover version of "My Name Is". I was amazed because I never knew anyone that time who listens to Eminem. Another reason, the amount of girls dancing while Too Phat performed. The next day I saw their picture appeard in The New Strait Times newspaper. Well what can I say about them? Would it be fair to say without them, hip hop genre wouldn't be so big without them? 1 thing gotta admit, I wasn't a real fan of Too Phat, the reason I went to the Joe Flizzow concert was to see Mizz Nina perform. I paid RM25 (I think)and Mizz Nina appeared like 3 minutes. But I made a new friend. I landed myself with a good job. I got to give them
propz for coming out with their own cap, KL cap. KL as in Kartel? KL as in Kuala Lumpur? I am not sure but does it matter? They started their own record label, Kartel Records.

Now (2006)

Teh Tarik Crew? Hmmm... do sounds funny for a rap group. Don't you agree? I listened once to their EP "Are We Rapstars Now". I was like "This group is OK for a Malaysian rap/ hip hop group". I can't deny that the main reason I bought both their album is because I wanted Mizz Nina's picture that is in the album inlay. Could anyone forget that they once appeared in Ribena's television commercial? Or Mizz Nina in Mentos's commercial? Here's another wierd part, myself and 1 of the TTC member is a friend before we became colleagues now.

Here's a few question:

What happened to Muchachaz?

Will Northsyde come out with another radio single like Jendera?

Will Teh Tarik Crew come out with another album?

When will Mizz Nina's solo album will be released?

Will my group make it?

Inked Down

1st April is best known for April Fool's day. Daniel got punk'd by Terry, as expected. Daniel was extremely unhappy about it.

What's really interesting happened on this day for this year? Devanandan and his cousin finally got their first tattoo. Both of them have similar concept, a cross. Their tattoos have shadings. Devan had it on arm. Rufus had it done on his chest.

Look at the following pictures, you will have a brief idea how a tattoo is done.

360

I just got myself a new toy, much to my delight! My old cell have a lot of problem so I decided to stop topping up the amount to keep it in good condition. It'll be better if I use the money and top-up the credit. Maxis makes some money out of me.

What can my phone do?

Take short videos

Take pictures

Transfer files via bluetooth or USB port

Watch videos

Listen to MP3

But the most important thing, I'm using a flip again.

My new cell is the Motorola V360.

Motorola V360

1 thing for sure is, I'll never throw this to the wall like I did to the old phone. It aint my fault, it's my anger.

Yes sir, I just received a new card. Nope, it's not credit card but employee card. Now I'm gonna have a new problem. I am so use to the old access code but now I have to use new access code. All I need is time to get used to the new access code. What is the access code again?

Go Baby, It's your Birthday

After a short nap (which is 4 hours) I have to go to KTM KL to pick up my parents and Jim to go to my aunt's house at Bangsar, then go to my sister's house at Subang. My sister called me about 11A.M. to remind me that I have to pick them up. I thought the location was Pudu but I was wrong. My sister told me that the place is KTM. I was like “Cool” but I do not know how to get there. I was thinking who to call. I thought of few names. Some that I even lost touch with. So I called my sister and asked her how to get there. After I got the direction, I was relieved. I listen to music. When the time was right, I drove to Shell and fill in some petrol. Then I went and picked them up.

I was sleepy. As a result, my driving skill was extremely bad. I was too lazy to use signal light. (I normally use it ok!). We went to my aunt’s house and my uncle was there as the welcoming committee. Then we headed to another uncle’s house which is 5 minutes away so my father can collect my uncle’s car. I dropped my father there, and then I took my mother and Jim to my sister’s house. On the way, I showed my mother where I work and live. She then says that she do not like where I stay and insisted that I find a new room. (Easier to be said than done)

When I was there, I fell asleep while waiting for my father. My mother woke me up. My parents, my sister, my bother-in-law, Jim and me went to eat and buy stuff. After that we went back to my sister’s house. Then I sleep again. When mother woke me up again, it’s the real event of the day. It is Isabelle’s birthday party. I met a lot of relatives. The weird part is, I met my cousin. She’s all grown up. The last time I saw her was 10 years ago, I think. Isabelle’s birthday cake was huge. Her first birthday cake from Berry’s. It was such a huge cake.It is as big as a table. The picture was Snoopy. The party ended about 10.30PM.

As for the rest of the night, I went to pick up Raja and then meet Fiq at Bangsar for another meal, but what I did was drink my favorite teh ais. After that, it is my usual makan place.

Note: To go to KTM station from Federal Highway, go to Jalan Bangsar, then go straight all the way. If you see the museum on the left, you are on the right track. Go straight till you see KTM on the right.

Where'd You Go

This track is my favourite for Fort Minor's The Rising Tied album. This is a sad song. I highly recomend that you play this track if you miss someone you lose touch with or at times when you wonder what is happening with someone you know or close with.

Anyway, I love the lyric of this track. View the video and drop a comment about the video and song.

Reminisce

As I am reading a new entry of a friend’s blog, it got me thinking of my past. The time started way before I have knowledge in sex. Way before I have interest in girls. I was below 10 that time. I grew up without my father. My father was working in the sales line and was rarely at home. My father works at another state. Kuala Lumpur was one of them. It is where I am today. It’ll be like months before I see him. I never knew him much. My mother was still working as a clerk.

2pac:

I hung around with the Thugs, and even though they sold drugs

They showed a young brother love

When I was in was in the 1st year of high school, I was still a little boy who was in a mild lifestyle. My grandfather passed away. I had a group of friends. Amazingly, I still remember their names. Hussein Bin Aja and Velen. We were like the group of 3 boys having good times. Yes, 3 boys with different races. Stealing stuff from P.Ramlee's house, racing with our cheap bicycles and a lot more. You know, weird stuff boys do for fun. I and Hussein became closer as we love to smoke. When I stepped into the second year, things became worse. I became close with older boys and I was their adopted little brother. I started to live in negativity. Skipping school was fun and was included in my daily routine. I even skipped school using a pass that was meant for students to leave school so they can go to general hospital. It was not peer pressure, I wanted to be cool.

I can’t remember when my father started staying with me and my mother, sis and bro. I never did care about that that time. But lately, I am proud of myself. I am close with them. Closer than we used to be. Guess time change a person. It’s rare that people change for the better like me. Come to think of it, I am surprised I am doing better than what I have expected. I have a proper low education with a good job. I remember vividly that I wanted to work when I was in the 4th year of high scool. Most of my fiends did work at that time. I've never imagined that I will be living in KL. Have my own car.

Elton John:

Daniel is travelling tonight on a plane

I can see the red tail lights heading for Spain

Oh and I can see Daniel waving goodbye

God it looks like Daniel, must be the clouds in my eyes

I have to be grateful that my sister thought of helping me else I won't be studying at Systematic College and might be working on an odd job with extreme low wage. I didn't see her for few years after that because at that time she was studing at KL then proceed at Glasgow, Scotland. But now, she is having a great job, she'll be starting on a better job. She is happily married with a beautiful daughter, Isabelle. Miss Isabelle Khang will be celebrating her 1st birthday this Saturday.

Crawl.jpg

There are a few things to do before I get married. That is to live my childhood dreams. Seems hard but I am willing to work for it. If you are curious to know, you claim to know me. You should have the answer. It has just begun. Will I win? Only time will tell.

Dream Machine

I rarely read blogs that is on Friendster. But I came across an interesting blog. The material she writes is indeed impressive. How often do a writer writes about Narcissus? I've just messaged her to read and comment on my blog. I do hope she does. Like Sonic the Hedgehog would say "I'm waiting !"

Back Up

After agreeing with Raja, I finally joined the group Naughty G. The group consists of me, Raja and Mei. We were supposed to perform 3 tracks. I was the hype man for that day. I was lazy so I decided it to be that way.

The 3 of us arrived the scene late. It was due to the jam in KL. Aint my fault, suppose to be there by 3PM but we end up reaching there about 4.30PM. After I parked my car, the 3 of us walked to the club. The club was small but the crowd was filled with adolescents above 19. I was chilling and checking around but being worried about Mei. You know how older brother takes care of his little sister. She just took SPM, so you can guess her age.

After few performances, someone there was attacked with babi sawan. An emcee from PSB Crew took camera and recorded all the way. So the gig stopped about 5 minutes. Once a while, I went out to smoke. I just felt that I want to be alone for a while.

After a while, it was contest time, the emcee called 2 girls, all of sudden he called me. I had to be supportive since I am the one of the performers that day. I was forced to dance with 2 girls while the club was playing the track Gold Digger by Kanye. I never listen to the track before. The emcee made the 2 girls sandwich me. What else? I took the opportunity to feel their breast while the 1 in front to give me a tip drill. I got a free CD. You know, I love freebies.

We were the last performers, Raja was worried that there will be no supporters and keep asking me. I keep telling "him up to you". In my head, I remembered my friend told me last Friday that I must do my shit no matter what. It aint fair that Raja's and Mei's microphone was perfect but mine aint. But in my heart insisted that I must do it since a friend encouraged me to do it. I did the chorus for the 2 songs that Raja decided on, Lean Back and Numbcore. I did the intro, add lips and Chester Bennington's part. Much to my amaze, Raw N G hopped on the stage for us, brought their fans for us, the support was good. Pee(of Raw N G) was shirtless and bouncing next to me. What am I waiting for? I moved aside and removed my colar t-shirt to show off my tatts too. The one that received the most response was Mei. I was proud of her and happy to be part of the group. 1 thing I hate for that day was I was performing songs that I never listen to. I will perform a track alone for the next group's performance. It's Raja's and Mei's turn to be the back up for me.

As we were about to leave, I asked where's next, he said that he wanted to eat with Ejay of Junior Hustlaz. My heart was like hoping to lepak with Raw N G and Ah Bad. That's why I keep insisting Ah Bad to eat at KLCC. Maybe next round we will go our seperate ways after performance. My favourite performance for that day was non other than Raw N G. I managed to lepak a bit with them outside after the gig.

Another Fucked UP Landlord

Latest Real Beef?

Here's the breakdown

Last Monday(this week), after i went home, there was no place for me to move my scooter to the parking space for my scooter. I went to Simi's room and asked him nicely to move his car to the side a bit. He answered me nicely back "ok". Then he invited me to his restaurant’s opening (which is today). I told him that I could not make it as I will be working. As I was about to leave, he told me that he wanted back the mattress that was provided to me (this is inclusive of the monthly room rental, RM350nett). I asked him why was I given a short notice and it is not fair to me. He claimed he told me earlier and I agreed. He offered to take me to go buy new mattress. He also mentioned his new tenants have paid for it. In my heart I said "I pay monthly OK?! If you cannot provide your new tenant what you promised, it is your problem. Not mine." He then said " I helped you a lot." After a little argument he asked “Does that mean you want to move out?" I was thinking if I can ask him nicely, why do he need to be a sore loser and in a way to ask me to move out because of a mattress? Now, just because you cannot provide your new tenant mattress as you promised, does that mean you have make me return you? Yes I owe you room rental due to my room mate moved out. What about I left my boo in the room to help you stick advertisements all over PJ to advertise your room? (that night, a couple got caught "tangkap basah" my ex-boo was scared). I helped Devan to clean up the messy house, you have the nerve to rent out a dirty room and keep giving empty promise that a maid will come and clean it. You rent the bigger room same price and lied to me that it was more expensive. Your maid is suppose to clean my current room before I move from the old room to the current room. He lie to another and keep giving empty promises, you got the guts to call him "bro"? What the F..K? Can you live that? Dissing others and saying other people are bad person while you are worst? Is that how you gonna live? Is that how you gonna teach your kids? Really, you want yourself to be worse than those you have mock? You wanna be like that forever? forever ever? ever?

Last night, it is clearly known that 1 of the mattress in the room is mine. He complained about me blasting music loud. Then, he pretends to say sorry. He came in to my room, open the bed sheet himself to double confirm IF 1 is really mine. I have decided to find another room to let and move out as soon as possible. It is a known fact that if I move out immediately, he will not return me my deposit. He enters a tenant’s room when the tenant is not in the house.

Wheels of wisdom turn turn turn,

What is the lesson I should learn?

Moral of the story

trust your friends who you know you can trust and depend on.

An example, Suben(my Suge Knight).

Friends who give matured advice. Example Vixx, Remy and Fiq.

And if you know one can never be trusted, never put a single trust.

From the first day I knew Simi was fucked up, but due to a reason I gave him a chance. He helped me to proof what others told me about him is true. He is one person who do not deserve respect and trust. BUT as part of conclusion, in this world there could be a single punjabi that one can trust.

Baby Got back

After few days patiently waiting to collect my baby, a friend took me to Perodua service center (which is located at PJ Section 19) to collect my car. To change the alarm box was RM190. The total of the bill is RM290.00. What I noticed the most was the stench in my car. I was so sad but a bit of joy as my baby is back.

Increase AGAIN

The price of petrol just increase by 30cents for every litre. Every time the petrol price increase, it never affects me in anyway because I was still using Annie (my scoot). I will start to feel the pinch once I get back my car tomorrow because I'll use my car more often.

Few things that I wonder like I was Ja Rule.

Does that mean food price will increase too?

Will my salary increase too? (just being hopeful)

How much do Jim (my brother) have to pay for a litre of petrol when he start using his car>
I wonder.

Birthday Date Meanings

Is your birthday day 16 of the month?

Your Life

You always follow the good and the right instead of listening to your heart. Another word, you are a perfectionist. You care for every word people say about you. You often seen isolated while you are, by nature, curious and a dreamer who is ready to get over the edge to make your dream comes true.

Your Love

You often fall in love with a person who is much different from you, in age and other aspects. Your relationship grows on friendship. Love at fist sight is not your style.

Is it true about me?

Worst Time In My Life

My baby is sick, it all started after clubbing last Saturday night with Raja and Mei. 3 of us went downtown KL to meet Terry and his friends. They call themselves KOF Unit. After out of the club, walking pass the mamak stall, I suggested to Raja to have a drink. Then Mei decided to eat, while eating It started to rain. We had to chill until the rain stop. When I reached my car, the alarm was on. I managed to switched on the engine and accelerate it and move but the alarm was still on. I moved my car to the front and stopped the engine. The alarm was still on, after calling Dev, I tried all that is suggested. My credits is out, Raja asked me to save 2 people’s number. Beside Dev, Fiq came to my mind. I couldn’t get Dev on the line. I called Fiq, I was surprised he picked up the phone and he told me he would come. I was relieved and surprised. 3 of us have to sit in the car. All we could do is to wait for Fiq to help us. I was hoping jumpstart could take me home. I asked Raja to help me but all he is worried is being scolded by his mum.

When Fiq arrived, I felt bad because after trying to jumpstart, the car still fail to start. Fiq was in dreamland when he received my call. I felt really bad, not just my car, my saviour was in deep sleep when I called him. The initial plan for me and Fiq was to test my car to go up Genting.

We went makan and wait for another Kelisa owner’s mechanic to repair my car. Fiq had a drink while I drink and ate a piece of roti canai. My emotion starts to control me. I am extremely sad and pissed because of my car. After the mechanic tested, my car still unable to start. No choice, only option is to toll the car. After sending the 2 back and went to Jalan 222’s Perodua service center, I decided to look at Perodua service center at PJ Sec 19. We went back to the scene and waited for the tow truck. The toll truck took my car to the service center for RM80.00. Both of us dried the floor of the car with a small piece of sponge while waiting for the towtruck. After toll my car, I was in the truck with the driver, I felt asleep on the way.

After my car is at the center, I and Fiq had to wait for 1 hour to register so that my car would be checked on Monday (27 January 2006). I asked a few times and was told to wait for my turn. All of a sudden a couple came and register at the payment counter. So I decided to do the same.

After a tiring event, Fiq and I went to Pandi’s and ate. I went to withdraw some cash before Fiq sent me back home.

Kicks Madness

It was a regular Sunday yesterday, I woke up around 4.30 PM with nothing to do. No plans as usual. I just missed futsal session that I hope to join. It's been a long time since I join a game of futsal. I'm planning for a 1 on 1 with someone.

I smsed Ben twice and he did not answer. So I was like "Selayang green curry?” Well time to call another baldie (he's more round than me). His name is Taufique a.ka. Fiq. I called him, he was at Times Square KL. So what do I have in mind? New handphone. It got to be a flip and the brand has to be a Motorola. Well I gess I look at too many Boost Mobile ads.

After a minor survey, I called Fiq again and meet him at the 6th floor, Times Square.
He was at a shop by the name Residen. The shop is a corner shop. As soon as I just called him, it was finally his turn. It was for a pair "Nike Dunk SB Hawaii 2". It's a limited version. It's damn shinny. Fiq paid RM339 for his pair. He was smiling on the way out of the shop. I was like "It aint for a pair of Hurricanes". I saw so many people waiting for their turn to purchase their pair. It was like 30 people waiting for their turn.

We went to Kenny Rogers to have a good meal after walking around a bit at Times Square. The smallest size for KL cap was 7. My lucky number but the size is not according to New Era. I was free and nuthing on my mind. So I suggested to Fique that I followed him home just in case his car breaks down again. I know the pain if one's transport breakdown and there is no one there to help.

TIPS from Fiq, any good limited kicks can be sold again for a higher price, and ONLY idiots purchase kicks at Zone 5.

I never knew that kicks have good resale value, do you?

You Don't Bring Me Flowers

You don't bring me flowers

You don't sing me love songs

You hardly talk to me anymore

When you come through the door

At the end of the day

I remember when

You couldn't wait to love me

Used to hate to leave me

Now after lovin' me late at night

When it's good for you

And you're feeling alright

Well you just roll over

And you turn out the light

And you don't bring me flowers anymore

It used to be so natural

To talk about forever

But 'used to be's' don't count anymore

They just lay on the floor

'Til we sweep them away

And baby, I remember

All the things you taught me

I learned how to laugh

And I learned how to cry

Well I learned how to love

Even learned how to lie

You'd think I could learn

How to tell you goodbye

'Cause you don't bring me flowers anymore

Radical Rascalz

Blast Off Category: Vocal Group

From: Georgetown, Penang

We live by the code: Be Yourself, Be Radical

Lineup:

Shaq - Vocals

Kug’z - Vocals

Westwood - Vocals

Their Story:

For quite some time Shaq and Kug’z could not see eye-to-eye…. artistic minds rarely do. But just before the Blast Off auditions in Penang, they decided to call a truce for the sake of good music. Along with Westwood, they formed RADICAL RASCALZ and gave it a shot. Their sound and image impressed our selection team, enough to make it to the top 10. Will the fragile peace between Shaq and Kug’z crumble under pressure, or will they just go from strength to strength? Only time will tell.

Although Radical Rascal got no. 2 for BlastOff Season 2 competition, they lost by just 1%. I would like to congratulate Randal Westwood and his team as they managed to put the name Penang on the map. Hope that there is more to come from Penang.

Makaveli in Bronze

Nine years to the day after Tupac Shakur's passing, the official Unveiling Ceremony for a brand new memorial bronze statue of the late rap legend proved to be a rousing celebration of life. Over 1,000 people turned out for the unveiling, which was held at the Peace Garden at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts (TASCA) on Tuesday, September 13.

Ms. Afeni Shakur, Tupac's mother and founder of the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation (TASF), found the ceremony to be an emotional, yet joyful, experience. Ms. Shakur was overwhelmed by the turnout for the latest addition to the Tupac Center, which recently opened the first of three phases of construction, and will ultimately represent the legacy left behind as Tupac's vision, fully realized through his mother's efforts.

The statue will occupy the center of the 6-acre Peace Garden, surrounded by poetry and quotations from Tupac. The seven-foot sculpture sits atop a three-foot base and features rap's top-selling superstar adorned in a suit (based on an outfit actually worn by Tupac) and holding a copy of his famous book of poetry penned when he was only 19, "The Rose that Grew from Concrete."

Reverend Minister Server led the attendees in an exhilarating, heartening prayer, followed by a moment of silence in memory of Tupac and "all the other fallen souls."

The statue was designed by noted sculptor Tina Allen, who has earned a reputation immortalizing great figures from African-American history ranging from Nat King Cole to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Tupac is the first rap star ever to be memorialized in bronze.

Ms. Allen said, "I was deeply moved to see so many people brought to tears upon first seeing the sculpture -- it was clear that something very special had come into all of our lives through this remarkable young poet. Usually, people will applaud or cheer -- but these people were reacting to Tupac's statue on an entirely different level. Every generation picks their own heroes -- and from the incredible display of emotion I was blessed to witness on Tuesday, this generation's hero is clearly Tupac Shakur."

On September 20, Tupac Shakur's poetry is celebrated by some of hip hop's finest with the release of The Rose, Vol. 2, a collection of songs inspired by the poems Tupac wrote as a teenager. The tracks on The Rose, Vol. 2 are original songs written and performed by an impressive list of guests -- including Bone Thugs 'N Harmony, Ludacris, Talib Kwali, Outlawz, Lyfe Jennings and Digital Underground's Shock G (AKA Humpty Hump), the man most responsible for launching 2Pac's solo career.

In order to complete the Tupac Center, the Foundation is still in need of an additional $3 million. For those wishing to contribute, information can be found at these websites:

RM2

Annie is back in action. I just put in a new battery which cost me RM70. It was not working the day before. I took the battery to full charge the battery power. I rode Annie to the shop at Old Klang Road for checking. The whole problem is because of the fuis. I change it to a new one. I was extremely happy Annie is good as it was day one. I rode it with full throttle all the way to Hartamas. I rode it to work.
